Pampers for the softest smiling baby skin

Babies are a bundle of joy. To keep them happy we need to keep them soft and hydrated. Weather changes and pollution often makes their skin irritated and dry. Doctors advise sunscreen lotions even on little babies. Use only approved sunscreen lotion for infants 6 months and younger. Apply sunscreen all over the baby's face and body 20 minutes before going out in the sun. Babies can’t say if they are feeling the heat much so one must be vigilant and if the skin looks red take them indoors immediately. Limit direct exposure to the sun. Protect them with an umbrella or sun shade. Always buy baby skin friendly products which are tested by dermatologists. Use just a small amount of lotion on baby's skin just to check if it is allergic to it. If the child's skin gets irritated, check the ingredients of the product and switch to a brand that contains other ingredients. Always use high SPF lotions and for best protection reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors.

There is nothing quite like the soft, delicate skin of a baby. Many babies are prone to skin irritation in the first few months after birth. If a baby has red skin around the diaper area, its a diaper rash. Most diaper rashes occur because of skin irritation due to diapers that are too tight, and wet diapers left on for too long or because of detergents in diapers and baby wipes. One can avoid this keeping the diaper area open to the air as long as possible. Change the diaper as soon as it’s wet, washing with a warm cloth and applying moisturizing cream. Always use gentle soaps and detergents and apply moderate amounts of moisturizers. Avoiding skin rashes will keep your baby smiling and happy: Use a gentle detergent to wash everything that touches your infant's skin, from bedding and blankets, to towels and even your own clothes. You'll cut down on the likelihood of baby developing irritated or itchy skin. Use only pampers diapers and wipes as they are tested and most reliable.
“Pampers brings you the softest ever Pampers Premium Care Pants. Its cotton-like softness is #SoftestForBabySkin  and allows it to breathe, thus keeping baby’s skin soft and healthy, and your baby happy. ”.No other pants are drier for happy mornings. Its a uninterrupted , driest comfort for baby's skin. Skin Protection.Pampers Premium Care Pants keeps the little one’s skin dry and healthy. Pampers Premium Care Pant is the best and ultimate choice for all the mothers. A full protection from pampers that ensures all the babies are happy and healthy.

Pampers for the extra soft baby skin

Babies are sensitive to temperature change. If your baby's bundled up, it can become overheated. Itchy red bumps appear when tiny sweat glands get clogged. Dress your baby in breathable layers of clothes, and remove one if it's hot. Babies' lips are always wet thanks to drooling, lip-licking, and drippy noses, and that moisture can break down the protective top layer of skin.  Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly or lip balm to create a barrier against the elements and to moisturize already-chapped lips. Dress your baby in mittens and a hat or hood, and don't stay out too long. Extend the cover on your stroller to block the wind. If your baby's skin looks red, give it a lukewarm bath. Using a thick moisturizer  or petroleum jelly on your baby's cheeks (or other problem areas) will add to the natural barrier and help treat any skin that's already chapped. Red, flaky skin can appear anywhere on your baby's body, especially on the face. It's particularly common during the winter because cold air doesn't carry as much moisture as warm air. Bathe your baby every day just don't use water that's too warm. Avoid soap or shampoo that contains fragrance or alcohol. Exposing your baby's skin to water twice a day will help keep it hydrated. When you bathe it, use a non soap cleanser only on the underarms, backside, groin, and feet, and use water to wash the rest of the body. Within two minutes of getting it out of the tub, spread on a moisturizing cream or an ointment like petroleum jelly to seal in the water. At another point during the day, use warm water from the sink to blot the skin, and then immediately apply moisturizer on the skin on the bottom which is vulnerable to moisture, heat, and irritants.

Baby's bottom may get red and tender for the first time when it begins solid food because the change in its stool can be irritating to the skin down there. Other possible causes: are wearing a wet or dirty diaper for too long, friction from tight-fitting diapers, and excessive heat and sweating. Change soiled diapers as soon as you can, and let your baby go naked once in a while so the skin gets some air. Make sure the diapers aren't too tight, and don't be afraid to go up a size. Use white diaper cream with zinc oxide or petroleum jelly to form a barrier that protects your baby's skin from friction and moisture. Our first and only choice is Pampers.“Pampers brings you the softest ever Pampers Premium Care Pants. Its cotton-like softness is
#SoftestForBabySkin  and allows it to breathe, thus keeping baby’s skin soft and healthy, and your baby happy. ”

MadeofGreat can be a person around you

I was very keen to become an engineer but the elders in my family were against my becoming an engineer, I being a girl. I was very disheartened by this turn of events. My next door neighbor asked me why I was looking so sad. So I told her about my wanting to become an engineer and how my family was against it. It was their belief that it was a girls role to learn about cooking and tending to the home. On hearing this my neighboring aunt told me her story how her father had inspired her to become an engineer. Hers was a family of engineers. However her father was a maths teacher. As she was good in physics and maths she always aspired of becoming an engineer. Her father supported her and did everything possible to help her succeed.Every time they use to take a train journey and pass the station of Roorkee the train would slow down and her father would point towards the station and say “This is Roorkee, the place where you have to come and study engineering when you grow up”

This action of her father used to inspire her a lot. By the she grew up to be of college going age there was mounting pressure on her father and family to marry her off. Despite all this pressure and opposition from the elders he stood like a rock of support for his daughter. She gave the entrance exam for getting admission to an engineering college but before the results could be out her father passed away. As luck would have it she  got admitted to the engineering college in Roorkee .She went ahead and fulfilled her dream of becoming an engineer and her fathers dream of her graduating from Roorkee. For her. her father was #madeofgreat who helped her dream and fulfill her aspirations and for me this neighboring lady has become a beacon of hope and source of inspiration who is truly #madeofgreat who despite having lost her father and the most important pillar of support of her life went ahead to fulfill her dream and that of her father.

Inspired by this lady I too am determined to fulfill my dreams of becoming an engineer.

Airtel 4G a good service from a Company with many Firsts

Airtel or Bharti Airtel ,the well known service provider from has introduced its 4G services in India. Looking at the prospects of a faster internet makes me wonder how the lives and the mobile surfing experience of millions of people who surf Internet is about to change.
For some faster mobile speeds give you a thrill but for others it is a necessity. India is a nation with a large population a large part of which is using the mobile internet. At present most of these users subscribe to 2G or 3G services. This interprets to long wait time in downloading files over the internet even watching videos over the internet which download bit by bit into the memory of our device and then play as one video take a very long time to get downloaded and played back resulting in jerky videos and long wait times to play even smaller size videos. With the Airtel introducing its 4G services all those woes about slow internet connection speeds ,broken, incomplete or slow downloads is likely to become a thing of the past. As most newer mobile phones are already 4G compliant all that one needs is a 4G Sim.Airtel which is currently offering its 4G services in 296 cities at the time of writing this post is going all out to make the lives of its 4G users easier so it is offering to give a FREE 4G SIM to anyone who wants to use its 4G services. Even the process of acquiring the new 4G SIM has been made very simple. A person can login to his his or her twitter account and send out a tweet #GetAirtel4G and Airtel would send the card to our desired address free of and cost and charges. Looking at the ease with with a person can get a 4G connection there is no reason why one should not make use of Airtel's fast speed 4G services. The next important question that arises is the cost of usage. Airtel users pay for 3G speed packages and in the same price get to use the 4G connection speeds. As a user of Airtel's services I experienced a better speed of surfing even on my older device which was not 4G compliant. When I applied for and got my new 4G SIM card I put it in a 4G compliant mobile phone and the experience of downloading from the internet was much faster. I could download an entire movie in a few minutes as compared to a few hours in 3G and days when I was on 2G data packs. I find that earlier the apps which require updating from time to time would take quite some time to complete these updates and now the updates get done in a jiffy. When I browse and open pages on the internet everything works so much faster that at times I forget that I am on the internet and it feels as though I am opening video files or games on my desktop such enhanced is my experience of using the Airtel's 4G connection. Airtel being the first provide to roll out its services is giving so many benefits that getting and making use of 4G services from Airtel becomes a very enticing offer.

Honey the best Health Option

Weighing the benefits of leading a healthy diet over a crash diet I must confess that I have reasons to believe that a healthy diet with a daily dosage of honey is the sweet and more effective way of remaining healthy and one should avoid as far as possible the agony and the suffering of a crash diet as it does more damage than good.
According to Ayurveda which happens to be the ancient science of India and a trusted ancient science of treatment of the human body and maintaining a healthy lifestyle Honey has found an important role in living a life that is truly healthy. Interestingly since time immemorial the Indian system of medicine too has recognized the good health benefits of honey . For example there are ancient documents in Sanskrit that throw light on managing good heath and weight with daily and regular consumption of honey. Taking a note from the site Honey Diet it lists some very important uses of honey such as taking one spoon full of honey with warm water in the morning can help us manage our weight.
Honey also helps in improving our digestion and helps us achieve smooth bowel movement.
Honey is known to make our immune system stronger. It is a rich source of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.
Eating honey also helps us ward off cough, cold and a bad throat.
Most diet plans ask you to cut on sugar but if we follow a healthy lifestyle we can replace the sugar with natural honey like Dabur honey this ensures that we consume less calories. An important fact is that honey has natural sugars and carbohydrates that are absorbed better by the human body. http://www.daburhoney.com/benefits-of-honey.aspx
Looking at the number of healthier honey based recipes from snacks, milk shakes and dessert treats the uses of honey to make our diet more healthy and nutritious are endless.
So if one has the option of eating healthy, eat and drink delicious honey based food and drinks then what is the need to harm our bodies with crash diets. As crash diets are always asking us to keep away from food . They ask us to either cut on the intake of sugar or give it up completely. I have even come across people on crash diets who eat nothing but  cucumber. Where as I eat healthy and eat everything. The other harm of a crash diet is that we are putting out bodies to stress and strain by not feeding it enough.
Take for instance a routine which starts with a spoon of honey with warm water to help us cleanse our system from inside and also manage our weight and at the same time get some enengy.
Then have a milk shake in the breakfast with honey as a sweetener.  This is a great way to give ourselves the morning energy to our bodies that would last us many hours and help us stop the craving for food.
For me the benefits of a healthy diet specially a diet packed with the goodness of honey fat outweighs the benefits of a crash diet.
Information about honey diet is available here Honey Diet.

When it comes to buying some honey I use a trusted brand like Dabur as it ensures a good quality and hygienically packed product. http://www.daburhoney.com/

UC Browser for a faster smoother cricket update

I am a girl in love with the game of cricket I just love Yuvraj Singh for his powerful hitting and the ability to hit six sixes on six consecutive balls . I love Virat Kohli for his match winning determination and Shikhar Dhawan for his stroke play and clean hitting. Actually I love each and every player who plays cricket and serves the nation in this manner. So crazy has been my passions for the sport and being up close and personal with the game of cricket and the cricketers that I seriously contemplated being a cheer girl so that I could always observe the game from close quarters.
The next best thing is watching the match on TV and the mobile phone like the boys in my class. However it’s not always possible to be in front of the TV and there are assignments to be completed and all the boys of my class complain that watching  matches on the mobile is slow and painful because the videos take a very long time to open.
However my passion for the game of cricket has helped me find a solution for this problem as well. I have found that by installing the UC Browser on my mobile phone the live cricket streaming as well as watching the recordings of the game is much faster. This way I am able to experience the cricket matches where ever I am without any interruptions. Another wonderful feature of the UC Browser is UCCricket  It is found as a blue icon on the UC Browser home screen and makes available all the match details and updates at one place. When my classmates are frantically refreshing the page or searching the web pages for score I am sitting pretty and enjoying a ball by ball account of the game thanks to the UC Browser and UC Cricket . The results seem almost prophetic when I can announce the scores while my friends are  waiting for the information to load on their slow mobile browsers.
The UC Browser is a very simple to use browser with an intuitive interface and it makes the mobile browsing experience more rewarding.
Firstly the browsing is quicker so one gets the information quicker and this applies to not just cricket but any other search or browsing as well.
Secondly as compared to other browsers it consumes lesser amount of mega bites of data. Lower data usage reduces the over all data usage and reduces the internet surfing bill for me.
The biggest advantage I have felt is that my dis tractors who earlier kept saying that I like the game of cricket for the good looking players have had to eat a humble pie as they themselves come and ask me for the cricket score and match statistics as my phone due to the UC Browser and the UC Cricket feature gives me the fastest score updates in the entire class .

Long live UC Browser and UC Cricket Long live Cricket.

My Dream home is ready

Our wardrobe changes with every change of the weather. Similarly our home also needs a constant make over with the change in the seasons. Just as we feel fresh and enervated with a change in our dresses, shoes and bags so does our home. With the onset of the summer season you switch to clothes that are light and airy. Our home also needs to look lighter and brighter. With the intent of giving a transformation to my home I searched for tips on how to make my home look happy and bright.
I happened to visit the Rewards me website. https://www.rewardme.in/home/home-decor/
I found it to be a treasure trove of ideas and options. Here I came to know that I need not spend a fortune to give that airy desired look to my home. I found the article A Summery Curtain Call to be very useful
https://www.rewardme.in/home/home-decor/article/a-summery-curtain-call
Without spending a fortune now I could transform my home into an airy summer palace.
I came to know that curtains with light-weight and breezy will breathe new life into my home décor. Window curtains are one of the easiest ways to give a room a face-lift. They have the power to instantly brighten or soften a room and with a little innovation, you can inject design and drama into any space. If I would like to control the light and temperature in the room, I should go for block-out curtains. And if you want to bask in the sunlight, then sheer curtains are the answer. Cool shades like blue and green are advised to keep the heat at bay. Sky blue brings serenity to a space and is great for a room where you want to relax and unwind. For a rich, elegant feel that shines in the sunlight, pick darker shades. Light, pastel shades are the favorites for the summer season. For a feminine touch go for a blushing hue of pink and if you like to experiment go for pop colors and pair yellows, fuchsias and oranges with neutral colors like grey or white.
I have learnt how to choose the right fabric. Linen and cotton are fantastic light-weight fabrics made for the warmer months. Transparent voile also is a great way to let the sunshine in. Velvet is a good option due to its density with silk as an excellent alternative. The article advises the use of soft, modern prints inspired by nature for a gorgeous look while retro and geometric patterns intensify the playful spirit of summer. Nautical patterns spell sophistication and floral designs are a great way to bring summer blossoms into the home. Metallic gradients, ornate designs and crystal embellishments lend a luxurious, regal appeal. I too can be a trendsetter by mixing up fabrics and colors to customize the curtains. I find the result to be spectacular. I need not spend on designer curtains now. I can make my own curtains I have used lace to spruce up the hemlines to create a striped illusion. My dream home is ready.

My home beautiful

I have always aspired to make my home a place to feel happy and inspired. A home in fact takes the centre stage in the lives of many of us, a focal point and a point of attraction. It is a place where we not only relax and unwind but also entertain. After a period of time the home though clean tends to lose its shine. The answer is to give it a make over.
The make over should be such that it is quick, easy to do and to top it all affordable. A make over that does not cause a dent in your pocket and with excellent results. My friends always speak highly of the Reward me site. I followed them and decided to visit the website for tips on how to give my home a quick, easy and affordable makeover. I went to the home section and under the topic home décor https://www.rewardme.in/home/home-decor I found what I needed. There were many articles but the one that caught my attention was titled Quick, Easy and Affordable Makeovers for the Home.
It is easy enough to update the wardrobes but it can be daunting when it comes to re-decorating your home. Buying of new furniture and renovations are expensive and time-consuming features but there are ways to give your home a quick, easy and most of all, affordable refresh which I came to know from the following article.  https://www.rewardme.in/home/home-decor/article/quick-easy-and-affordable-makeovers-for-the-home.
After reading the article I moved the chairs and the sofas in the living room and my room started to look different. I switched certain pieces in between rooms and rearranged my art and pictures. It surely gave a brand new look to my home.
All this only required a little juxtaposition and no money was spent. I then looked around and changed the cushion covers to complete the new look of my living room. This done I moved to the dining area and placed a set of new table mats as well as a bunch of flowers on the table to give this area a feel of freshness.
Next I used my net saris as curtains to complete the dream effect I also placed some decorative mats on the sofa arms.
My bedroom also got new net curtains as well as tucked in sheets for a streamlined effect.
I re arranged the crockery in the kitchen and settled back to enjoy a cup of tea and at the same time enjoying the change in my home. This was possible all because of the article in the Reward me website and I really felt rewarded by the new look of my home.

A Hug for the best Dad in the World

My Daddy is my Super hero. I want to thank you Dad for always being there for me. He held my tiny fingers and taught me to walk. He became my teacher, guide and guard. He is my hero my pride. When life's problems are intense, his advice comes like a ray of sunshine. His inspiration takes away my fear. I have faced lots of rejections and difficulties in my life but, but my father has always been a driving force for me. Every advice you have given me has helped me a lot in my life.
Thank you for listening to me like my best friend, guiding me in my career like a good mentor, protecting me like a brave knight & teaching me the ethics and values of life. Thank you for discussing things like friends. Thank you for being so frank with me that never made me feel a hesitation in sharing my personal problems with you and you always had a great solution to solve them.
Thank you for giving me those sweet childhood memories & every moment spent with you was so great fun. We used to play badminton & football together & how we watched sports together like crazy fans and always cheered out loud for our team India whenever watching sports on TV.
He made me an independent and positive thinking person. He has been a constant source of motivation and inspiration for me and he has always told me to hope for the best, even if something has gone wrong or something bad happen, he always tells me that don't lose hope and always hope for the best and things will be better in no time.
I have not forgotten any words of yours which you told me as I grew up. "Always think before you act. Never let self-doubt keep you from achieving your goals. Always stay focused and increase your productivity by avoiding the negative signals trying to distract you from your goal. In order to achieve success in your life and your career goals you need to be disciplined.’ You advised me to analyze & plan out things before taking any action on it. You taught me to differentiate between right & wrong, the good & the bad and that I should always do what is right no matter what others are saying or thinking about you. It's from you only Dad that I learned to be punctual and courageous. You have cultivated in me good habits and manners since my childhood. You have taught me to help those in need and never to expect any favor in return. You have taught me to be polite & respectful to the elders and to be friendly & loving to everybody. I asked him once how I can say thanks to him he hugged me and said: "Whenever you really want to say Thanks I should hug him." He is so right like always. So today I want to give you that much needed hug.

I am expressing my love towards my dad by participating in the #HugYourDad activity at BlogAdda in association with Vicks.”

Its time to hug my DAD

In my childhood I copied you. In my youth I adored you. As I grew older I followed you. My whole life I have always wanted to be like you. You have always been, you were, you are & you will always be my role model dearest Dad.
You Are The Greatest Dad.
You are the perfect Gentleman in both your words and actions. I would raise my kids with all the love, care & protection like I got from you & I will instill those invaluable lessons & ethics of life in my kids which you have taught me.
My dad likes to spend time
with me. Even today I love accompanying him for jogging in the morning. I enjoy my conversations with him. It is you who has inspired me & developed in me the habit of reading books. And I really love books which have become my good companions.
Thank you for aptly guiding me in taking my financial decisions and instilling in me the skills of money management.
My father is for me next to god. I wish that his hands are always on my head in the form of his blessings. He has taught me so many lessons in life. He has given me the choice of living and making my life my own way. His presence brings a sense of relief as when Dad is there is no fear.
I have been brought up in a way which gives me the total freedom of taking my own decisions. My Dad has always taught me to stand by my decisions and has always supported them. Thanks Dad for making me what I am today. My father always helped those who are in need and taught me to do the same.
He gave me the best grooming and best education despite of the humble beginnings in his professional life. His values, teachings, his beliefs still hold a very important place in my life. His sayings and teachings have always given me a way to live life. He has taught
me the importance of values and discipline in life. My father has always given me the best. He is an amazing person and my heart is filled with warmth when I think of him. He is a wonderful son, the best guide, and the best father. Dad, you cared like a doctor when was sick. You gave me strength when I was weak. He made me smile when I was in tears. Cheered me up when my mood was down. He bought for me all that I needed. My Dad is the most wonderful person in the world. He is my genie who fulfilled all my wishes. The twinkle of love in his eyes inspires me to be a better person and see things differently. Dear papa you deserve lots of hugs XOXO.

The family secret to kill bad odors at home

I got married into a joint family and my new life was cut out to adjust my lifestyle to the new norms and traditions of the new household and then my husband got transferred to another city and we the newly wed couple set upon the journey of discovering the truths of life that most married couples face and discovering the challenges of adjusting to a new house. The house that we got was a rented flat in the middle of a big bazaar. On the lower floor were shops that were part of the bustling market and our first floor accommodation gave us a good view of the passers by and the hustle and bustle of the life in the new city. My husband had chosen the house specially so that me the new bride would not  feel lonely as I had been living in a joint family before marriage and even after marriage I was used to seeing a lot of people around me as I had got married into a joint family. Though the new house of ours offered a lot of activity and by virtue of so much activity I could observe and pass my day. However as the house was just next to the local fish and meat market it was constantly filled with the smell of fish and meat. It gave us the feeling that we were surrounded by dead and rotting fish 24 X 7 a feeling that was nauseating and made me feel sick. As I began to feel ill my husband consulted a doctor who not only gave me medicines to deal with my never ending nausea but also suggested we look for another accommodation if I constantly felt sick due to the unbearable smell. Hearing about my ill health my mother visited me. As she discovered that my ill health was as a result of the bad smell that was filling every nook and corner of our house, she went to the market and brought for me Ambi Pur Air Effects Spring & Renewal Aerosol Air Freshener. It is a spray based product that not just makes the room feel and smell fresh but also removes bad odors from the room completely. No sooner did she spray my room and the rest of the house with the fragrant Ambi Pur Air Effects Spring & Renewal Aerosol Air Freshener I felt an instant relief. I felt a pleasant smell arround me. As my mother had brought the flavor of Ambi Pur Air Effects Spring & Renewal Aerosol Air Freshener that was of my favorite flavor I was instantly transformed to my childhood memories. I felt so good that not only my mother’s use of the Ambi Pur Air Effects Spring & Renewal Aerosol Air Freshener in my house made me feel better but had also made my house battle ready to tackle any bad odor.

The scent of a fresh home

As a newly wed bride the biggest challenge faced by a girl is to set up her own household. When I moved into a new house with my husband I had complete freedom to decorate and arrange the house the way I wanted in the process of transforming it into a new home. For a new bride this is a god sent opportunity to shape her home according to her wishes. As every rose has thorns associated with it similarly every opportunity brings with it its share of challenges. For instance the new house that we moved into had ample space and the rooms were big and airy thanks to the large French style windows. However the drawback was the nearby open sewage that would be more often than not clogged and when ever this clogging occurred it meant living day and night in the stench of rotting sewage. Since pigs like and thrive these kind of environment a lot I found small piglets after having a playful time in the clogged sewage would find their  way through a opening in the kitchen door of our rented ground floor home and would be found sleeping on the cool white marble floor. They had to be shooed away and even though we got the kitchen door an additional latch on the lower part of the door and had the broken part blocked yet the stench of the garbage took several days to go despite regular cleaning. More then the smell itself it was the memory of the smell that seemed to haunt me and I was apprehensive and petrified to go the kitchen as I feared that I may encounter another stinky slimy piglet waiting for me on the kitchen floor.
For the smell emanating from the sewage I tried keeping the windows sealed at all times and putting heavy drapes so that they may soak any bad odor. I would regularly place fresh and sweet smelling flowers and constantly burn incense sticks in the various rooms. I even tried spraying all kinds of aerosols and fragrances in my house yet whenever I felt that I had conquered the problem of bad odor .I felt a waft of air sneaked into my house carrying with it the stench of the sewage and mocking my efforts of being battle ready and able to tackle bad odors in my house.
I became very frustrated and wanted to change the accommodation when a friend of mine suggested that I use Ambi Pur Air Effects Spring & Renewal Aerosol Air Freshener. As a last resort I purchased it and tried it. When I tried it by spraying it in every room of the house it instantly gave a pleasant feel to the room. Before I could rely on the new solution I wanted to be sure that it worked. I waited for some time and surprisingly there was no smell of any sewage. I inspected every room and even sniffed hard specially near every window that I had painstakingly sealed. However to my surprise there was no smell of the sewage. It was a wonderful surprise. Next day when I got up from sleep I woke up to a fragrant smell of Ambi Pur Air Effects Spring & Renewal Aerosol Air Freshener. I thought I was dreaming but this fresh pleasant aroma was the new reality of my life that has made my life more complete and enjoyable

Discovering the Maxfresh Spark of freshness

I am staying back in the college hostel because of an assignment that I have to complete. All my friends and classmates are off to their homes and native places. Some of them are enjoying their vacations. The assignment that I am taking part in is supposed to be completed in the vacations and I am supposed to take readings in the science lab at regular intervals. Even though I love studying science and spending time in the science lab however in the absence of friends and my classmates it takes on a wholly different meaning. There is no one to crack jokes with and none to pull a leg. Life suddenly becomes very boring and the days seem to be stretched and long. Even the clock hanging on the wall of my room seems to take forever to complete the day. With nothing much to do during the day I simply seem exhausted and sapped. Perhaps it’s not the heat of the season that is taking a toll on me but the boredom of an uneventful life.

This boredom and the eventfulness makes me lose focus and raises the un productiveness level of an otherwise focused person like me. Work tends to linger on and I seem to drag myself to complete my daily routine. I desperately need a change. A change that would drive a spark of life through my half dead and tired flogging spirit. I begin to think what that change could be.I do this lying on my bed and listening to the local radio channels. Then slowly I hear the song Dance Basanti from the film Ungli and played by the famous and my favorite singer Anushka MAnchanda being played out.
Even in half sleep instead of dozing off by this scintillating music and the magical voice of Anushka MAnchanda I feel my feet begin to move and slowly my whole body begins to wriggle and tries to simulate a dance move to match the beats of the song. Next I find myself standing in front of the large mirror in my room holding a pen in the place of a mike and lip syncking the song. Suddenly I feel the high energy of the song stimulating me and transforming me into an instant dancer. I see myself grooving to the song and performing the steps of none other then the dancing sensation Allu Arjun whose dance moves have such high octane energy that it can only be seen to be believed. Mid way into the dance I already feel so full of energy. I am wonderstruck as to from where did I get this sudden burst of energy. Perhaps some inner reservoir of energy has been uncapped by the singing of Anushka and my emulating the dance moves of Allu Arjun.
It looks like some switch within my body that was off has been put in the on position and my body had become a reservoir of free flowing energy, vigor and freshness.
Now that I have discovered the secret and the correlation between care free singing and dancing and the unleashing of that refreshing feeling I want to organize a Anushka Manchanda and Allu Arjun Dance performance in our college. With this new spark of an idea. I begin to send an email to our student’s general body to help me organize one such concert in college so that the whole college can be inundated in the freshness and energy of singing and dancing and live  the most memorable #maxfresh moments of their lives.

Max fresh way of taming the Math dragon

I got up in the morning feeling fresh and energized after a good nights sleep. Every thing seemed just seemed perfect. I was feeling cool and collected when I suddenly realized that it was a working day and I had before me a day that was not going to be easy for me.
It was the onset of summer and already the heat had begun to take its toll with the mercury rising every day.
This was not all. It was a very crucial day for me as I had a math test which I could not avoid at any cost. Our math teacher was a hard task master. She was a great stickler for rules and no excuse ever worked with her. She was a real miser when it came to giving marks and loved to put red marks on the answer sheet, taking pleasure in encircling the wrong answer.
The chapter selected for the test was a very difficult one and many of us had not understood it well enough to take a test. We were scared to tell her this fact as we knew that we would be the objects of her scorn.
I left for the college that day with great fear and apprehension. I did not know how I was going to fare in the test that day. This fear kept gnawing at my heart.
After two successive classes it was time for the math class. Our class was in complete silence. No one had dared to absent themselves from the college that day.
We were all wishing for some miracle to happen. We were all music addicts and wished that we were not in the class but attending a music concert of our favorite singer Anushka Manchanda with the accompaniment of the electrifying moves of Allu Arjun. No more math no more tension only the flow of music. I wondered how our math teacher would look like grooving to the music with Anushka belting out her songs as Allu Arjun grooved.
I softly started humming a song of Golmaal Returns sung by Anushka Manchanda The whole class joined in and soon we were tapping our toes. In the meantime our teacher entered the class. We were so busy singing that we did not notice her enter. Suddenly we heard someone laugh, it was none other than our teacher whom we dreaded so much. The miracle had happened and she was singing along with us and at the same time loudly tapping her feet with gay abandon. It was our Maxfresh moment that released our stress and charged us with freshness. Our fear vanished and we had a new member in our musical group.

Our skin can make or mar our personality. It is a most important part of the human body. Healthy skin which is radiant and glowing is a cherished desire of all from the royalty to the common person. It is every ones aspiration. Great care is taken to maintain a healthy skin that is free from all blemishes. Special diet plans are followed and different methods are employed to ensure the firm tone and texture of our skin. Over the centuries home made pastes have been used to keep the skin healthy and glowing.
Turmeric the basic ingredient found in all kitchens which gives that heavenly color to the cooking is known to be a blood purifier. It has an important role in keeping the skin healthy and blemish free. So it is used in face scrubs to provide that shining glow to the skin. Oily skin leads to clogged pores and results in pimples. When this happens then there is panic and steps to control this situation take on a war footing.
If you need to keep your skin healthy then a few drops of rose water when added to the water work as a good astringent.

There are many creams and lotions in the market that make tall claims about their effectiveness and results. The only issue one faces with these products is that they have one or the other chemical formulation. This may lead to a reaction for those with a very sensitive delicate skin. Instead of a solution we often have to search for a cure caused by the use of these creams and lotions.

celebrations then and now

When I was younger I used to look forward to the coming of festivals as we used to have a great time celebrating them. Festivals usually meant new clothes for me, a variety of sweets and practically anything that I wanted. It was also the time when I used to be well dressed and well behaved to be in the good books of my parents.
I waited in anticipation and excitement for any forthcoming festival be it Holi or Diwali, Eid or Christmas or Guru Purab (Indian festivals). We needed no excuse to celebrate these festivals. Our childlike innocence helped us celebrate them and enjoy each festival a lot. Stepping into adulthood brings with it responsibilities and liabilities. This baggage weighs heavy upon our shoulders and somehow that carefree attitude of celebration goes missing. However it seems that seeking happiness and celebrating life is intrinsic to human nature. So when I diet and avoid all those oily pakodas, say no to the jalebis, imartis and gulab jamuns (all the indian sweets that I love) and then after a few months of this rigorous and torturous diet for the results make me celebrate as when I look at my self in the mirror and find my love handles reduced or gone that’s reason for me to celebrate. When I can fit into that old pair of jeans that I used to wear in my college days is a double reason for celebration and it certainly calls for a party.
This celebration usually begins by treating my self to a double scoop Sunday with some extra chocolate or strawberry syrup. However the joy of this celebration spills over and causes me to call my friends to celebrate my successfully following of a diet plan. When I see those envious looks on their faces looking at my curvaceous body it makes my going through the pain of undergoing a diet seem very worthwhile so much so that I do not even mind paying the bill for all the food and drinks that they order.
There have been numerous reasons to celebrate from the moments when everyone appreciates my new dresses or the piece of jewelry that I would  have purchased or borrowed just for the party. It used to make me feel that the money had been well spent. Recently I have discovered the art of mixing and matching my dresses and hairstyles to create new looks and appearances for every party. This way I can keep reinventing my looks without having to spend a lot of money and when I get compliments for my looks I feel like celebrating as my efforts have paid off and give me a reason to celebrate for being so creative.

renewal of love bonds with my dil ki deal

I got married a few years ago. I had met my husband at a party that was held by one of our common friends. We lived in different cities and it was just providence that had brought us together. The man who was destined to be husband had been sent by his office to collect some important data for a special project in my city. It was just a casual meeting at the party and there were no sparks between us and there was no love at first sight. We parted after the party was over and got busy with our hectic lives. After 10-15 days he happened to come again to our city for work relating to his project. I was surprised to receive his phone call as I had not thought that we would meet again. We had not even exchanged our phone numbers. He told me that he had taken my mobile number from our common friend. We met over coffee and exchanged our views on our career, the weather and nearly every thing under the sun. He discussed his past, and planned his future with me. He told me how he had lost his father when he was only 10 years of age. He did odd jobs to support his education and his family. He did not have a normal childhood like other kids. He never went on vacations as he had no funds. He had a life full of struggles and hardships. He just worked and worked and had no fun in his life. He shared his inner most feelings with me which he had never shared with anyone before in his life. This became a regular feature with us. Our small talks got into lengthy chats. We shared jokes and celebrated festivals together. At last the day came when he proposed to me. It was on a New Year's Eve. It was the most precious and magical moment for me. We had problems in getting married as he belonged to a different caste. My parents objected to our alliance. Moreover he was not a wealthy person nor had sound finances. But somehow I convinced my parents and after a lot of struggle and strife we got married. My husband had always faced struggles since his childhood. He again started working hard spending more time in his professional field to provide me a comfortable life. I promised myself that I would make my husband happy and fill his life with joy. On the New Year’s Eve the same day when he had proposed to me and poured out his heart to me I planned our second wedding in Goa, a reminder and renewal of our marriage vows. It was an escape from the hectic life where we would be together for a celebration of a new beginning. Goa is my husbands dream destination. Goa was the magic city where we fell in love again. I swept him off his feet by proposing to him, declaring my love for him. I had planned a beach wedding like the one we used to discuss before marriage. A beautiful beach, the music of the violins in the background, good food, mesmerizing decoration and eternal love for each other. It was perfect a gift of a lifetime. There was a special glow on his face I think it was love. It was the best moment of our lives. My surprise had made him the happiest person in the world.

I found my sister with my dil ki deal

I belonged to an affluent family. I was the only girl in the family and so I was a most pampered child. I was always showered with gifts by my parents and even my relatives. Every visitor to our home came loaded with gifts for me. They brought either clothes or books for me. Each and every occasion was a gift day for me. I still remember that when my brother passed out of school he brought for me a box of my favorite Gulab Jamuns On his birthdays too my mother brought a new dress for me. My brother not only asked me to open the beautifully wrapped gifts but also shared them with me.
I went to a school which was ranked as one of the top most schools of the city. The students were a mixed lot. Mostly they came from rich well to do families but there was an exception too. One of the girls, a new admission had recently joined our school as her father had been transferred to this city. She was a very simple girl without any airs about her. She belonged to a middle class family with limited financial resources. Normally our school was very selective in admitting students, but this girl was an exceptionally bright student and she was selected on the basis of her merit. She was not only very intelligent but also very hard working. Still the girls of our class often made fun of her and looked upon her with disdain. She was outwardly not at all perturbed by their behavior but I could often see a hint of sadness in her eyes when the students talked to her in a rude tone and above all made fun of her by mimicking her. I did not like their behavior but kept quiet. Soon we became friends as we were seated next to each other.
My birthday was drawing near and I had invited all my classmates to my birthday party.
My new friend expressed her inability to attend the party at which my classmates passed comments that maybe she did not have nice clothes to wear for the party.
After my repeated requests she agreed to come but only for a short while.
My mother had brought two beautiful dresses for me to wear. I wore one of them and kept the other aside. It was time for the party to start when my new friend arrived. She gave me her gift and hurriedly said goodbye. I looked at her closely and saw tears in her eyes. With one hand she was clutching at her dress trying to hide something. Gently I removed her hand and saw that her new dress had a big tear on the side. I took her to my room and took out the second dress my mom had brought for me. I hugged her and asked her to wear it saying that it was a gift for her from me her sister. Seeing my love she changed into the new dress. Happiness had her completely transformed. It was a moment which we cherish till today.

Do anything but blogging #IamWashiqur

"I blog because I am" I seriously live by the mantra. For me its a matter of personal choice. Earlier I used to write a diary and now some of its content finds its way to my blog pages. Its personal and I do not bother much about what others say or feel. However a day after the Bangladesh unfortunate incident when a secular blogger was hacked to death my grandmother came to me with the newspaper and said "you also do this blogging Na.." Stop doing it or your life would be in danger. I was startled by her statement.
Like everyone else in this country and the world we bloggers do have a right to express and present our opinions . Therefore I extend my support and pledge to stand by every blogger because within me is a Washiqur Rehman and any other blogger who has ever been harassed or harmed in any way

Relocating to open the doors to the future

I was the pride of my family as being a girl I had dared to break the tradition that girls only studied home science. It was the prevalent view that all the girls of our family were destined only to be house wives after marriage and with this in view, we the girls were supposed to excel in home affairs only. I had proved myself to be different and so all my cousins looked at me with admiration. Where ever I went they flocked with me as they felt it to be a matter of pride to be seen with me. I had now become some one important. My maternal cousins who were not bound by any rule and those who had chosen science as their career would often come to me seeking help in solving the chemical equations this attention also gladdened my mother’s heart who held her head high before her cousins.
I dedicated all my attention to my studies as I wanted to excel in them. As my father had reposed such great faith in me I wanted him to feel proud of me. I wanted to show him that he was not wrong in his decision to support me. He had now become my best buddy and from time to time showed his interest in my studies and my progress
I had great responsibility on my shoulders. I had to fulfill my aspirations as well as come up to the hopes of my father and mother. I now studied with a renewed zeal and fervor.
Every thing went well and when the day of my board exams came I was well prepared and confident. My exams went well. It was now time for me to start preparing for my entrance exam. I joined a training institute who taught their students and gave them the tips and tricks needed to score high in the competitive exams. All my efforts bore fruits and I was selected for admission to one of the best medical college. Now it was a testing time for me. The medical college that I had been selected to was not in my city but located in another city quite far away. I had never been away from my parents and this was a heart wrenching moment for me. I did not want to go so far away where we knew no one. I did not find myself ready for such a big step. I was dithering in making this decision and taking this bold step to relocate. I felt that all my efforts had gone in vain. Then again my father came to my rescue. He told me that this was an opportunity which many did not get. Also it was the start of a journey to fulfill my dreams and #StartANewLife. All my doubts vanished and I started my preparations for relocation and I knew that I would not regret taking this bold step and relocating to another city for pursuing my studies.

I looked up and found hope

Life is never a constant; it is ever changing from day to day. Some days are full of moments of joy and happiness, but it is a transient state. Some days are tiring and troublesome which leave you depressed and unhappy. On such occasions if you get timely help and support then you edge out of such situations and get the impetus to move in the right direction. I was lucky to experience a moment of hope and optimism when I needed it most.
My family comprised of my parents and a brother and a sister who were both elder to me.
I was the youngest of the children and so I was the most pampered. There was a rule in our family that all the boys were to study commerce and all the girls were to take home science as a subject so that they could become proficient in cooking and household affairs. Every one was content with this decision and no one ever debated over this issue or said a word against it.
I was different and since all my wishes were always instantly fulfilled I revolted against the idea of taking up home science as a subject. I was not at all happy and felt it to be a most dull and boring subject to study. I did not want to waste my life doing something that I did not like and had no aptitude for. I had great interest in science and found it be a very exciting topic. There were never any dull moments with science and I was determined that I would be the path changer in the family by taking up science instead of home science. I talked to my sister about my wanting to take up science as a subject. She was aghast at the very thought that I could even think of such a thing. She told me that it was against the rule and if I dared to express my wish I would only incur the wrath of the elders. This did not deter me at all and I knew that I had to make a stand for myself. I thought of having a heart to heart talk with my mother. I took her into confidence but even she reacted sharply when I told her that I wanted to take up science as a subject. She told me that I should give up my foolish dream and expressed her inability to help me in this matter when she found me to be adamant.
I did not know what to do but at the same time I did not want to give up so easily although I was giving up hope. In the evening when my father came home I saw my mother talking to him in a serious tone. Then he looked at me and in a most stern voice asked me to see him in his room. Although I was shivering with fear I put on a bold front and went to his room. Angrily he asked me as to what he was hearing about my wanting to take up science. Fearfully I looked up at him and was surprised to see him smiling. He patted me on my back for my brave decision. He told me that he was proud of me for taking a stand on an issue which had always been a sore point for him. He had always wanted to take up the medical profession but the dictates of the house had prevented him from doing so. Now he was on my side and would support me all the way as he was confident that I would succeed in my mission.
His inspirational words filled me with a new hope and optimism and helped me in selecting the subjects of my choice. Without his timely help and intervention I would not have succeeded.
